What’s your favourite thing to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Do you read food blogs or would you ever consider writing one?
Breakfast is usually a protein shake or a protein bar around 7:30ish, and I’ll sometimes have 1/3 to ½ of a small breakfast taco around 10.
Lunch is usually soup or else part of a frozen dinner. Wednesdays is El Fenix day; Sarah-bear and I will go to El Fenix on Wednesdays to split the cheese enchilada plate (on special for $4.99) and then stop at 7-11 for slurpees. It’s a delicious tradition. Sunday lunch is with my parents and sister, and my husband when he is in town, and I usually get soup there as well.
My favourite dinner is a ground beef tostada fromRosa’s. It’s got protein, a little crunch, lettuce and tomatoes, and it’s less than $3.
I sporadically read food blogs—usually when I’m on a cooking spree. When I am reading food blogs, that’s pretty much all I read except for my few standard daily blogs. And then I get bored and am done. That’s why I wouldn’t write a food blog. It’s fun to share new food discoveries and recipes that I’ve created, but if I were doing a food blog solely as a food blog, I’d get bored and abandon it.
