You doodle too, don’t you?
We had a meeting today. A long boring slow draggy meeting that lasted 11 hours. Or one hour. When you’re in a long boring slow draggy meeting, one hour can seem like 11.
And when I’m in long boring slow draggy meetings, I doodle. Sometimes I draw adobe houses. Sometimes I draw a guy I call “Unibrow Dude.” Sometimes I draw tornados and cows.
And I did all of that today, except for Unibrow Dude, who didn’t put in an appearance. And now that I think of it, there weren’t any cows in my tornados. But I drew something new today: Medusa.
While I was drawing all the snakes for her hair, I started wondering how cool she would look with a mohawk, and a black leather jacket. And a huge safety pin through her ear.
What if she decided she wanted to bob her hair? Would the snakes magically grow back to provide her with a chic chin-length coiffure?
And I wondered how she’d look with dreads, but then I realized she sort of already has dreads, just dreads that hiss and bite.
Yeah, it was one of those meetings.
