- to feel uber-cute with your newly red hair
- and your colourful tank & shrug
- and your raspberry high heels
- and have lunch with good friends
- and roll down the windows in the car
- and dance to the Black-Eyed Peas music pouring out of your speakers
- and spend the rest of the afternoon dancing to the music in your mind
- and turn the music back on in the car
- and drive home, singing and dancing
- and admiring the bluebonnets and the buttercups and wondering when the Indian paintbrush will make an appearance
- and kiss your dogs and give them treats
- and run around the back yard with them for a little while
I’ll be closed up in my home office this evening, writing writing writing, so I really enjoyed the lovely, lovely day at lunch when I got to get out. Few things are prettier than Texas in the spring time. That is not an opinion, believe it or not. That is a fact.
ahhhh, spring! I can’t wait for it to arrive here
Sounds fabulous! I can’t wait for summer!
That is definitely one thing I miss about Texas-wildflowers! However, I did get to see some bluebonnets and evening primrose this past Saturday. I was in Dallas for a layover. My sister picked me and took me to lunch. I saw pretty pretty flowers all along the highway and was oh so delighted and grateful.
Glad you had such an awesome day!!!!
