It is my considered opinion that the city of Las Cruces, New Mexico has a vampire problem.
Why, you may ask, wouuld I make such an outrageous statement?
We arrived yesterday evening around 6ish, and decided to try to find a restaurant. We’d been driving all day, were tired, grouchy, and very hungry. There were a LOT of hamburger joints, and we saw a custard place, but really, everything was dark, unlit, there were no cars in the parking lots of all the businesses. We did finally find a pizza place near the hotel, so we got some pizza to take back with us.
But yeah, vampire problem. I’m guessing you probably don’t want to be out after dark in Las Cruces. Unless you’re wearing a cross, or have some holy water, or lots of garlic.
I’m just sayin’.
