guess what! guess what! guess what!

today was one of those good, bad & the ugly days. 

the good: i slept last night without the ambien. of course, that’s with a different sleeping pill that leaves a really disgusting taste in my mouth.

the bad: i am switching one of my meds to the morning, and completely forgot to take it this morning. so i’ve had funky brain zaps today.

the ugly: i’ve also been quite sick at my stomach all afternoon.

the good: i still have a job

the bad: 320 people in our company got laid off today, although they’ll be employed through the end of the year, which gives them time to apply for other positions within the company

the ugly: some of my very favourite people are amongst the lay-offs

the good: i’m getting my hair done on saturday

the bad: nothing bad really about that

the ugly: my roots that are about an inch long and all the grey that’s showing, hence the getting my hair done on saturday

the good: joe picked up dinner from chipotle

the bad: he forgot that i asked for no salsa and put some spicy salsa on mine

the ugly: he shared some of his with the dogs, and scout got too close to molly and molly attacked him.  both dogs seem to be okay, fortunately.

the good: jehara’s getting married next week and i’m going on a roadtrip with izzy and amethyst to be there

the bad: we don’t get to go by roswell and see the aliens after all

the ugly: four days in a small car will be interesting. but it’ll be good. we all love each other.
